Ingredients:-
Chili-Coriander Chutney:
Combine the following in the blender and blend it:
2 bunches coriander, roughly chopped
1/2 green capsicum, roughly chopped
4 green chillies, roughly chopped
3 tbsp peanuts, skins removed
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 of a lime, squeezed
1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp sugar
2-3 Tbsp of water as needed.
You can freeze this chutney upto 1-2 months.
Sandwich masala:
Combine the following in a bowl and mix well:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 tablespoon black salt
1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
To make one sandwich:
2 slices of bread, sides removed (you can use bread of your choice)
1 tablespoon of chili-coriander chutney
1 tablespoon of butter
3-4 slices boiled beetroot
4-5 slices boiled potatoes
4-5 slices tomatoes
8-9 slices cucumber
1/2 teaspoon sandwich masala
2 tablespoons of ketchup
1 cube Amul cheese
Instructions:-
Spread chutney on one bread and butter on the other bread.
In a serving plate, place chutney bread.
Place potato slices.
Place beetroot slices.
Place cucumber slices.
Place tomato slices.
Sprinkle sandwich masala.
Put butter bread on the top.
With the help of sharp knife cut the sandwich into 6 pieces.
Pour ketchup on all the pieces.
Grate Amul cheese. (you can skip this if you are making a healthy version)
Sprinkle some more sandwich masala on grated cheese.
Serve with potato crisps, ketchup or chutney.
