💛 Ingredients 💛
2 cups wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powder
Salt to taste
Pinch of asafetida
1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
2 tablespoons oil
Water as required
Oil for frying
💚 Instructions 💚
In a deep bowl, combine wheat flour, and all the masalas and mix.
Add in oil and water and make a semi soft dough. (not soft like Chapati)
Divide the dough into 24 equal parts and make small round balls.
Roll each dough into a poori shape with the help of some oil.
Fry 2-3 pooris at a time in hot oil on each side.
Remove in a paper towel.
Serve with your favorite pickle, or my athela jalapenos and tea.
