Gulab Jamun Rabdi


For Rabdi:

  • 1 liter of full fat milk

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1 pinch of green cardamom powder

  • 1 pinch of saffron(optional)

For GulabJamun :

  • 1 pack of Gits gulabjamun ready mix

For Assembling:

  • 2 tablespoons pistachios, shredded

  • 1 tablespoon almonds, shredded

  • Few chopped rose petals to garnish


For Rabdi:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a deep pan and boil it until its thick and creamy, keep stirring it every now and then to avoid lumps and sticking it to pan.

  • Keep it in the fridge until chilled.

For GulabJamuns:

  • Take gulab janum ready mix pack and make marble size gulab jamuns as per the box instructions.

  • Let it cool for 1 hour.


  • In a small cup or shot glass, put a spoonful of the rabri at the bottom.

  • Now cut gulab jamuns into four pieces and place on the top of rabdi.

  • Pour rabri all over and around the gulab jamun pieces making a thick layer.

  • Now cut a gulabjamun into half and place it on the top.

  • Garnish with some pistachios, almonds and rose petals.

  • Serve chilled gulab jamun rabri.
