Arrabbiata Pasta


  • 2 cups farfalle pasta(or any pasta of your choice, boiled

  • 2 cups tomatoes, crushed

  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, chopped

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons chili flakes

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast(optional)

  • Chopped red chilies or Chili oil to garnish.


  • In a nonstick pan, heat olive oil.

  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes and basil. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Season the sauce with salt, pepper, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, nutritional yeast, and sugar. Mix well.

  • Toss boiled pasta with the sauce. (add water if needed).

  • Top with chopped chilies or chili oil or freshly grated parmesan cheese.

  • Enjoy!
