Red Bullet Chili Chutney

Chili paste:

Combine the following in the blender and blend it into a smooth paste:

  • 250 grams red bullet chillies

  • Water as required


  • 2 tablespoons Chili paste

  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 teaspoons corn starch / potato starch (to make farali)

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • Salt to taste

  • Water as required


  • Combine all the chutney ingredients into a glass bowl and mix it well.

  • Microwave it for 1 minute, and stir it every 15 seconds to avoid any lumps due to starch.

  • Or you can cook it in a pan too by stirring it continuously.


  • You can freeze the bullet chili paste up till one month.

  • Make sure you wear gloves while making the paste as the chilies are very hot.
