💛 Ingredients 💛
6 Idlis, cut into small squares
Oil for frying (deep or pan)
1 green capsicum, cut into squares
1/4 yellow capsicum, cut into squares
1/4 red capsicum, cut into squares
1 tomato, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
3 tablespoons sesame oil
Pinch of aji-no-moto (optional)
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon salt (or as needed)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
💚 Instructions 💚
Deep fry or pan fry all the idli pieces and keep them aside on a paper towel.
In a pan, heat oil.
Add in chopped tomato, all the capsicum, green chilies, aji-no-moto, ginger paste, tomato paste, soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, honey, salt, and pepper powder.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add fried idli pieces to it and mix until well combined.
Mix idli pieces just before serving, so it doesn't get soggy.
You can deep fry, pan-fry, or air fry the idlis. Or can just skip this step too.
