Cheesy Jalapeño Dough Balls


💛 Ingredients 💛


  • 15 pickled jalapenos, chopped

  • 16 mozzarella cheese cubes


For the dough:

Combine the following to make a soft dough, knead for 10 mins, cover, and let it rise for 30 minutes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (plus extra for working)

  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast

  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt (or as needed)

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs, rubbed

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 cup warm water (or as needed)

💚 Instructions 💚


For the dough balls:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

  • Roll dough into a long tube.

  • Chop into 16 balls.

  • Add a mozzarella cheese cube and chopped jalapenos to the center of each dough ball.

  • Pinch from all the sides and seal all the balls.

  • Place all the dough balls in an oven tray.

  • Leave the dough balls to rest in the pan for 20 minutes.

  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve hot with herbs butter or pizza sauce.
