Custard Cookies

Ingredients:-

  • 1 kg of all purpose flour or maida

  • 2.5 cups of sugar

  • 2.5 tsp of custard powder

  • 2.5 tsp of soda bi carb

  • 500 grams of salted butter

  • 250 grams of milk


 

Instructions:-

  • In a bowl, mix sugar, custard powder, soda-bi-carb, butter and milk. Mix it well until you get a fluffy batter.

  • Now slowly add flour and make a dough.

  • Wrap the dough and keep it in a refrigerator for 1 hour.

  • Now remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it into a cookie shape

  • Bake it in an oven at 200 degree C until it’s golden brown.

  • Remove it from the oven and let them sit for 10 minutes and they are ready to eat.


 

Tips:

  • You can add cashews, almonds, sprinkles, chocolate chips or any of your favorite toppings into the cookie dough.

  • Remove dough from the refrigerator as per the need. Roll it and bake immediately. Cold dough makes it easy to roll (non sticky). And also gives better cookie texture.
